Unshaken: Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the Kingdom He Built, and the Truth He Still Proclaims

 By Atty. Arnedo S. Valera

In a world engulfed by deception, political persecution, and moral decay, few voices stand unwavering. One such voice—calm yet commanding, prophetic yet compassionate—is that of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, the Appointed Son of God and spiritual leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC). Despite the storm that has raged against him—from relentless political attacks to unlawful detention on trumped-up charges—Pastor Quiboloy remains unbroken. His faith, mission, and global spiritual movement are stronger than ever.

This year, Pastor Quiboloy made history by stepping into the political arena during the Philippine midterm elections. With no traditional machinery, no major party backing, and in the face of a well-funded smear campaign, he garnered close to 6 million votes—a clear testament to the strength of his voice and the hearts he continues to touch. “We may have lost the battle, but we will win the war,” he declared, echoing the resilience that has defined his journey for over four decades.

A Global Kingdom of Faith and Transformation

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is not merely a church—it is a spiritual sanctuary for over 3 million believers worldwide. From Davao to Dubai, from Manila to Madrid, KOJC is a beacon of hope, peace, discipline, and moral restoration. Under PACQ’s stewardship, the Kingdom has launched humanitarian missions, educational institutions, free medical outreach, and programs that uplift the poorest of the poor.

Pastor Quiboloy’s teachings emphasize the inner transformation of man, the rejection of sin, and the total submission to the will of the Father Almighty. “Change must begin within you. Only then can you change your family, your nation, your world,” he preaches. This spiritual revolution has produced millions of faithful who walk in righteousness, shun vices, and live in service of others.

SMNI: A Torch of Truth in an Age of Silence

In an era where mainstream media often bows to powerful interests, Pastor Quiboloy founded Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI)—a network that has become the most courageous and objective voice in Philippine media. SMNI dared to tread where others feared: exposing the violent roots and political deceit of the CPP-NPA-NDF and their deceptive "legal democratic fronts" that infiltrate government, civil society, and education.

Through its flagship programs like Laban Kasama ang Bayan and unfiltered news coverage, SMNI awakened millions to the silent war waged by ideological subversion. For this, it has paid a price: cyber attacks, political harassment, and the weaponization of law. Yet SMNI remains firm. “When truth is silenced, we will speak louder. When light is attacked, we will shine brighter,” Pastor Quiboloy once said.

Even while Pastor Quiboloy is unjustly detained, SMNI continues to operate—proof that the mission is bigger than one man. It is a movement of truth, of conscience, and of conviction. While detractors seek to imprison the messenger, the message has already reached the four corners of the world.

The Struggle Continues, But So Does the Victory

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is not just a preacher. He is a father to the fatherless, a builder of faith-based institutions, a watchman for truth, and a symbol of spiritual resilience. Despite fabricated charges and unlawful detention, he continues to guide his flock, inspire his network, and uplift his nation. KOJC remains steadfast. SMNI continues to broadcast truth. And his mission—divinely ordained—goes on.

As he once declared:

“You can persecute me, but you cannot destroy the Kingdom. You can silence me, but you will never silence the truth.”

Indeed, no prison can contain the spirit of a man whose mission is not his own, but Heaven’s. The Kingdom will rise. The truth will triumph. And the war—for the soul of the nation, for righteousness, and for divine justice—will be won.
