Thank You Letter Philippine Independence Day Parade 2025 From SDS NY and Hakbang ng Maisug, USA
Dear Friends and Fellow Advocates,
On behalf of SDS New York and Hakbang ng Maisug, USA, I extend my warmest and most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who made our participation in the 12th Philippine Independence Day Celebration in the streets of New York truly meaningful, powerful, and unforgettable.
To our volunteers, marshals, logistics team, food committee, program coordinators, and our energetic and inspiring Zumba Team—thank you for pouring your passion, energy, and creativity into every detail. From the banners to the choreography, from the packed meals to the crowd coordination, you made sure our presence was dignified, joyful, and impactful. You are the silent engines that made our march not just possible but deeply moving.
We express our deepest appreciation to KOJC and Ka Eric Celis for your unwavering support and powerful contribution to our mission and prayer program before the parade. You reminded us of the higher purpose behind our unity—that beyond festivity is our solemn call for transparency, accountability, peace, security, and national sovereignty.
Most of all, we offer our profound thanks to all the participant marchers, especially the more than 25-strong SDS NY and Hakbang ng Maisug, USA contingent from Brooklyn. All of you sacrificed your personal time, shared your resources, and walked with us in dignity and purpose. You embodied the true spirit of Bayanihan and Makabayang Paninindigan.
And to all the outstanding officers of SDS NY and HNMUSA, led by our Secretary General, Ms. Jocelyn Cambaya, for coordinating all the Committees. Special thanks to Lily, Tunee, and Clyde for your special health assistance.
As we look forward to next year’s celebration, let us carry with us the spirit of this day—a spirit rooted in courage, unity, and love for our country.
May God bless you and your families abundantly. Mabuhay ang ating bayan. Mabuhay kayong lahat.
With gratitude and pride,
Atty. Arnedo S. Valera President SDS New York & Hakbang ng Maisug, USA
